Effect of fungicidal sprays on incidence of seed-borne fungi and germination of pearl millet

The effect of fungicides at different seed development stages on the incidence of soilborne fungi and on seed germination was evaluated on Pennisetum glaucum. Spray treatments of thiram, Dithane M-45 Bavistin thiram+Bavistin, Dithane M-45+Bavistin were applied under various regimes. The crop was sown in July and sprays carried out at respective stages of development. After harvest, 400 seeds from each treatment were assessed for fungi and germination.
