In a field trial conducted on a sandy loam soil during the winter seasons of 1992-93, carrots (cv. Pusa Kesar) received N fertilizer at 0, 50, 70 or 80 kg/ha in combination with K fertilizer at 0, 40, 50 or 60 kg/ha.
