, : Effect of nitrogen application and liming on the botanical composition of grassland swards in diverse habitats of the Sudety Mountains. Zeszyty Problemowe Postepow Nauk Rolniczych 442: 317-321

In 1988-90, grassland on acid brown soil at 2 sites at Nowa Bystrzyca, one on level ground at 630 m alt. and the other on a NE-facing slope at 640 m alt., were given PK + 0, 120 or 240 kg N/ha, PK + one application of 4 t CaCO3/ha or PK + 240 kg N + CaCO3. The plots were cut 3 times/year. Changes in botanical composition and utilization value at the 1st cut in each year are reported. Yields and utilization values were lower on the sloping site.
