In a field experiment in 1990-93 at Pusa, Bihar, sugarcane BO 120 was planted at 6 different row spacings + set rates and given 75, 150 or 225 kg N/ha. A narrow spacing (30 x 60 cm) produced the highest cane yield of 76.5 t/ha.
