Evaluation of fungicides for the control of bean rust (Uromyces appendiculatus)

Five trials using a randomized block design with 4 replicates were performed to determine the effectiveness of bitertanol, diclobutrazol, diniconazole, hexaconazole, iprodione, metiram, oxycarboxin, penconazole, pyracarbolid, triadimefon, triadimenol and tridemorph + maneb, compared with sulfur, used as standard, and with an untreated control plot, against U. appendiculatus on Phaseolus vulgaris and their effect on yield.
