Factors affecting the expression of durable resistance of rice cultivars to blast caused by Pyricularia grisea Sacc. 2. Components of the resistance of durably resistant cultivars for rice blast

The aetiological components of rice cultivars possessing durable resistance to rice blast (P. oryzae were evaluated. In a greenhouse test using artificial inoculation, the number of leaf blast lesions in Dongjinbyeo was not increased by any race of the pathogen, while the lesion numbers on the resistant cultivar Palgongbyeo and susceptible cultivar Jinmibyeo increased rapidly.
