Experiments were conducted to investigate the mechanisms of acetochlor selectivity in monocotyledonous and dicotyledonous weeds. Pre-em. applications of 0.16 kg/ha were used to assess selectivity in Avena fatua, Bromus secalinus, Echinochloa crus-galli, Abutilon theophrasti, Amaranthus retroflexus, Xanthium strumarium and maize Pannonia SC.
