Abstract
The possibilities of an indirect breed influence on feed conversion efficiency in dairy cattle were investigated. The regression coefficients between the traits of efficiency, gross efficiency, net efficiency, part of energy used for milk synthesis, energy yield per kg metabolic body weight, and the traits milk yield, feed intake, backfat thickness, body weight at different times and body measurements are presented and discussed.
