High powdery mildew resistance in Triticum aestivum L. derived via introgression from T. durum Desf

Erysiphe graminis f.sp. tritici resistant wheat-T. durum var. apulicum introgression line K11 was tested using different E. g. f.sp. tritici isolates at the seedling and adult stages for 5 years. K11 was compared with common wheat cultivars for various agronomic traits over 3 years. K11 showed stable disease resistance against all tested pathotypes with virulences common to temperate Europe.
