Hospitality, a cultural problem: reinventing hospitality the French way

The concept of tourist reception or hospitality in France is derived from an anglo-saxon cultural model, the facets of which (the smile, precision, succinctness and rapidity) have become internationally accepted and adopted. The model is not necessarily suited to all countries and cultures however. A French model of reception or hospitality may be based on other values.
