Identification of Slovene potato cultivars (Solanum tuberosum L.) by SDS-PAGE of tuber proteins
Total tuber proteins from 10 Slovene cultivars were analysed by SDS-PAGE. High sensitivity silver staining was introduced to resolve proteins for use as biochemical markers. In the region between 36 and 66 kDa, the electrophoregrams exhibited 5 protein bands.
