, : Identification of a cloxipyridine-resistant strain of Eimeria tenella. Chinese Journal of Veterinary Science and Technology 24(8): 19-20

On a poultry farm in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, China, cloxipyridine was successfully used for 5 years for control of coccidiosis in chickens, but it was ineffective in summer 1993. In order to prove the existence of cloxipyridine-resistant strains of Eimeria sp., 140 12-day-old chicks were divided into 7 groups, 20 birds in each group.
