Identification of hymenopterous parasitoids of aphids on cotton, Citrus and horticultural crops in Valle del Cauca

, : Identification of hymenopterous parasitoids of aphids on cotton, Citrus and horticultural crops in Valle del Cauca. Revista Colombiana de Entomologia 21(2): 71-76

Parasitoids of aphids, particularly Aphis gossypii, were identified on 21 crops at 13 sites in Valle, Colombia. Lysiphlebus testaceipes was found parasitizing Toxoptera aurantii; Diaeretiella rapae on Macrosiphum euphorbiae; Lysiphlebus sp. on Aphis illinoisensis and A. gossypii; and Aphelinus sp. on A. gossypii and M. euphorbiae. The hyperparasitoid Pachyneuron sp. was found parasitizing braconids.
