Identification of thiocyanate as the principal metabolite of oxamyl in lactating goats

, : Identification of thiocyanate as the principal metabolite of oxamyl in lactating goats. Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry 45(3): 962-966

Oxamyl is the active ingredient in the Vydate pesticide/nematicide. The metabolic fate of xamyl in a lactating goat was investigated. The goat was administered 5 consecutive daily doses (59.3 mg/day orally) to give 31 ppm oxamyl in the daily diet.
