In vitro studies on growth and sclerotia formation of Rhizoctonia solani Kuhn causing sheath blight of paddy



Journal of Soils and Crops 7(1): 43-45



Of the temperatures tested, 30 degrees was best for mycelial growth and sclerotia formation of an isolate of R. solani from rice. Desiccation of sclerotia and compactness of basal medium did not influence mycelial growth and sclerotia formation.
