Maize under a limited water supply: variety trial of 28 hybrids of maturity group 400-500

, : Maize under a limited water supply: variety trial of 28 hybrids of maturity group 400-500. Informatore Agrario 53(17): 68-70

The 28 hybrids were grown at Rome in 1996. Irrigation was applied only during the period of emergence of the male inflorescence and 15 days after full flowering. Highest grain yields were obtained from Single (12.08 t/ha), with 10 other hybrids giving over 11 t/ha.

By using AFLP technique polymorphism analysis was performed between a fuzzlesslintless mutant line and its isogenic wild-type line, Xuzhou 142. SALL1 is a mammalian homologue of the Drosophila region-specific homeotic gene spalt (sal) and heterozygous mutations in SALL1 in humans lead to Townes-Brocks syndrome. We isolated a mouse homologue of SALL1 (Sall1) and found that mice deficient i...

The first case of malignant schwannoma of the submandibular gland in a 23-year-old man with neurofibromatosis is reported.
