, : Major present and future fields in research on pig nutrition in Europe. Revue Suisse d' Agriculture 28(5): 315-318

Between 1990 and 1995, nutrition physiology and feed evaluation made up 20 and 14%, respectively, of papers published on pig nutrition in Europe. Germany, the UK, France, the Netherlands and Denmark were the sources of 75% of total papers published. At present, improved knowledge regarding feed, nutrient requirements, meat quality as related to dietary quality and control of nitrogen excretion are the most important subjects.
