This course was organized by the Oxford Forestry Institute with the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED), SGS Forestry (Oxford) and Australian National University. It sought to bring together leading thinkers and specialists in forest policy issues from a range of organizations, and participants who offered their own experience and national problems for debate. There was a seminar each day which consisted of a number of presentations, 24 in all.
