, : Malaria situation in the People's Republic of China in 1995. Chinese Journal of Parasitology and Parasitic Diseases 14(3): 169-172

In 1995 there were 49 669 cases of malaria reported in China (mean incidence 4.194/100 000 and 34 fatal cases). It is estimated that the actual number of cases in 1995 was 300 000.
