Malassezia (Pityrosporum) pachydermatis in dogs


, : Malassezia (Pityrosporum) pachydermatis in dogs. Acta Medica Veterinaria 41(4): 319-329

Six cases of erythematous, ceruminous otitis externa and a case of seborrhoeic dermatitis caused by M. pachydermatis are described. Diagnosis was by microscopic examination of stained smears, skin biopsy samples, and colonies on culture.
