Management of bacterial wilt of tomato by organic formulations
The effect of a mixture of asafoetida, turmeric powder and water (ATW) to control Pseudomonas solanacearum (Ralstonia solanacearum) wilt on tomatoes was determined. Experiments were carried out in vitro using ATW at a ratio of 1 g:5 g:10 litres, and in the field by spraying a 5% solution. ATW inhibited growth of R. solanacearum in vitro.
