, : Management of burrowing nematode, Radopholus similis in banana var. Nendran by treating suckers in organics and granular nematicides. Annals of Plant Protection Sciences 3(2): 132-134

Control of R. similis on banana using sucker disinfestation with tobacco decoction, fish oil in soap or neem oil was compared with application of carbofuran or phorate. Paring and pralinage of carbofuran or phorate each at 1 g at planting followed by soil application of 1 g each at 75 and 165 d after planting gave greatest reduction in nematode density.
