Gravena, S.; Yamamoto, P.T., 1994: Management of coffee pests with endosulfan in the region of Espirito Santo do Pinhal, SP. Cientifica Jaboticabal 22(1): 123-131
A study was carried out in a coffee plantation in Espirito Santo do Pinhal, Sao Paulo, Brazil, to evaluate the effectiveness of endosulfan in coffee IPM strategies. Two treatments were compared: endosulfan applied at the threshold level of 40% of leaves attacked by Perileucoptera coffeella and 5% of terminal branches attacked by Hypothenemus hampei; and a control. The results showed that P. coffeella never reached the threshold level and was effectively controlled by parasitoids.
