Management of levamisole toxicity in piglets-a case report

, : Management of levamisole toxicity in piglets-a case report. Indian Journal of Veterinary Medicine 15(1): 54

Signs of toxicity were seen in 5 piglets following an inadvertent sc injection of levamisole at 25 mg/kg bwt. 3 piglets were treated with atropine sulfate (0.2 mg/kg bwt im) and survived, whereas one treated with dexamethasone at 0.25 mg/kg bwt im, and the untreated control died.
