A long term experiment conducted to study the effect of integrated nutrient supply in a rice-rice sequence in an Inceptisol with low potassium status showed that continuous application of graded levels of NPK for 7 years significantly increased all forms of K in soil. Integrated treatments replacing 25 and 50% chemical N through organic sources registered significantly higher values of all forms of K over chemical fertilizer treatments.
