Management of traumatic fistulous withers and wounds of the lumbar dorsal spinous processes of horses and donkeys used for pack animals



Journal of Equine Veterinary Science 17(1): 43-45



Over 3 years 89 traumatic wounds on the withers and lumbar area of donkeys and horses were treated at the ambulatory clinic at Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico. The wounds generally resulted from poorly fitting pack equipment.
