The American sphere IS 100 and the German sphere PMS-60, developed at the Institute of Agricultural Engineering in Bornim, were compared for several load conditions on fruits and vegetables. IS 100 detects only dynamic load (acceleration) of the sphere in 3 planes. PMS-60 detects dynamic and static load (internal fluid pressure) of the sphere.
