Shoot tips and stem cuttings of C. terminalis were excised and placed into culture vessels containing MS medium supplemented with factorial combinations of benzyladenine (BA; 0.5, 1.0 or 2.0 mg/litre) and NAA (0.05, 0.1 or 0.2 mg/litre). The stem cuttings resulted in better shoot proliferation than the shoot tips. For stem cutting explants, the medium containing 2.0 mg BA + 0.1 mg NAA/litre produced the most shoots per explant (25.4 after 8 weeks).
