Milk yield and milk composition in cows fed on maize silage and wilted lucerne silage

Black-and-White cows in 3 groups of 10 each were given daily maize silage 35.5, lucerne silage 20.55 or maize silage 25.5 plus wilted lucerne silage 8.48 kg. All cows were allowed concentrate 7.66 to 7.78 kg daily. Average daily yield of 4% fat-corrected milk was 22.80, 20.81 and 24.36 kg, respectively. Cows took 0.72, 0.74 and 0.67 kg DM/kg milk produced.
