Modelling of saturated regime as affected by emitter application rates
The prediction of hydraulic behaviour of a surface area wetted by a point source is an important criteria for the efficient design and operation of trickle irrigation systems. The ability of analytical models developed by Philip (1969), Wooding (1969), Clothier et al. (1982), and Howell et al. (1983) to predict the saturated soil regime as affected by the trickle application rate was evaluated.
