This review covers a wide range of substances active on higher plants most of which are derived from fungi. Among the most important effects covered are those of IAA and 2-pyruvoylaminobenzamide on oat coleoptiles, of GA on rice leaf sheaths and of colletotrichin on lettuce roots and hypocotyls.
