Oviposition behaviour of sorghum earhead midge on resistant and susceptible genotypes

Oviposition behaviour of sorghum earhead midge on resistant and susceptible genotypes

Current Research University of Agricultural Sciences Bangalore 24(11): 215-216

The time each female of Contarinia sorghicola (Stenodiplosis sorghicola) spent searching spikelets before oviposition and the time required for the female to probe spikelets with an ovipositor were studied in the resistant DJ6514 and susceptible DSV1.
