, : Oxindole alkaloids from Alstonia macrophylla. Phytochemistry (Oxford) 41(1): 313-315

Two new oxindole alkaloids, N-b-demethyialstophyllal oxindole and alstonal, together with three known alkaloids, N-b-demethylalstophylline oxindole, alstonisine and talcarpine, have been isolated from the bark of Alstonia macrophylla. Structures of the alkaloids were assigned by spectral methods.
