P, K and Mg fertilizer application trials on grassland to determine the optimum basal fertilizer level. I. Yield reaction of North German lowland sites
In trials at 6 lowland sites in N. Germany in 1985-92, the effects on DM yields of applying P, K and Mg fertilizers at 0.5, 1.0 or 1.5 times uptake were studied. The lowest rates of P and K increased yields but higher rates did not generally give further significant increases. Mg application did not increase yields.
