Silva Filho, P.V. da, 1993: The genus Virola (Myristicaceae) in the PAMG/EPAMIG Herbarium. The genus Virola is represented in the EPAMIG (Minas Gerais) Herbarium by V. sebifera (tree to 10 m tall).

Brandao, M., 1996: The genus Krameria Chodat (Krameriaceae) in the PAMG/EPAMIG herbarium. Krameria tomentosa, the only Krameria species deposited in the herbarium, is described. The species is used medicinally for various purposes including alleviating diarrhoea, stomatitis and skin and gum disorders.

The genus Malvastrum deposited in the Herbarium of the Empresa Agropecuaria de Minas Gerais in Minas Gerais, Brazil, was studied. The results of the analyses of M. americanum and M. coromandelianum are presented.

Brandao, M.; Macedo, J.F., 1993: New localities for new species of the genus Stylosanthes Sw. described by Brandao et Costa and deposited in the PAMG/EPAMIG herbarium. New locations in the State of Minas Gerais are given for S. acuminata, S. aurea, S. campestris, S. grandifolia, S. macrocephala, S. pilosa and S. tomentosa, which were first described in 1978-79.

Brandao, M.; Losada Gavilanes, M.; Laca Buendia, J.P., 1993: The genus Krapovickasia Fryxell (Malvaceae) in the PAMG herbarium of the agricultural research institute of Minas Gerais - EPAMIG. The genus Krapovickasia and its species K. macrodon are described. The delicate leaves and flower colour of K. macrodon suggest that it could be used for ornamental purposes and may be particularly suitable as a cut flower crop.

Descriptions are given of 16 species of Desmodium in the herbarium of the Agricultural Research Organization of Minas Gerais, and a key to the species is provided.
