PRA and its complementarities with household survey methodologies
Participatory rural appraisal (PRA) methods were used to evaluate the value of mangrove resources to a community in El Salvador. However the project came to encompass more than just resource management strategies instead focusing on the social and economic conditions that determine the communities' use of the mangroves.
