PZ103: a polymorphic bovine microsatellite

, : PZ103: a polymorphic bovine microsatellite. Animal Genetics 28(2): 154-154

A (CA)15 microsatellite (PZ103) was isolated from a cattle genomic library. Polymerase chain reaction amplification of the region containing the microsatellite revealed the presence of a 6-allele polymorphism. Autosomal codominant inheritance of the alleles was demonstrated by typing families belonging to the International Bovine Reference Panel.
