Palynological study of the Pena Veira peat bog, Lugo


, : Palynological study of the Pena Veira peat bog, Lugo. Anales del Jardin Botanico de Madrid 51(1): 111-122

The qualitative and quantitative pollen analysis was made of a peat bog in the northern mountains of Galicia. From the 14C date of 5490+or-90 BP there was progressive degradation of forest (principally Quercus and Corylus) and the development of pasture and shrub formations.
