, : Panel data estimation of technical efficiency levels in Slovene dairying. Zbornik Biotehniske Fakultete Univerze v Ljubljani, Kmetijstvo ( 66): 21-31

An econometric approach using panel data methods for farm-level data, was applied to examining the technical efficiency levels of 4 State farms and 12 privately-owned farms in Slovenia, from 1974-1990. Private ownership of farms, and farm size of privately-owned farms were restricted under Slovenia's previous political system, and the most significant parameter in terms of efficiency was found to be availability of land.
