Parameter identification for torque curve of rotary tillage

, : Parameter identification for torque curve of rotary tillage. Journal of the Japanese Society of Agricultural Machinery 58(6): 79-88

Parameters to characterize a quadrilateral model of the torque curve for a rotary blade were identified using the Gauss-Newton method, whose convergence conditions for parameter identification were examined from the practical viewpoint of designing a rotary tillage shaft. All the parameters defining the quadrilateral model were easily identified by means of a simulation program, for various tillage soil hardnesses.
