Scientific Reports of the Hokkaido Fish Hatchery ( 48): 83-85



Eight species of parasitic crustaceans (7 Copepoda: Lernaea cyprinacea, Lepeophtheirus salmonis, Caligus orientalis, Salmincola californiensis, S. stellatus, Ergasilus hypomesi and Neoergasilus japonicus; and 1 Branchiura: Argulus japonicus) have been reported from freshwater fishes, wild and farmed populations (including carp (Cyprinus carpio), rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and salmon (O. keta, O. gorbusha and O. masou)) in Hokkaido, Japan.
