Performance of groundnut varieties in rainfed lateritic uplands of West Bengal

In field trials in kharif 1992-93 at Sriniketan, India, 10 groundnut cultivars were compared. Pod yield was highest in SPS-38 (2750 kg/ha) followed by JL-24 (2512 kg/ha) and it was lowest in ICG-26 (1835 kg/ha).
