In a field trial in 1993-95 on clay loam soil in Madhya Pradesh, India, sugarcane Co 7318 was given the recommended rate of NPK fertilizers (300 kg N + 35 kg P2O5 + 50.4 kg K2O/ha), 50 or 75% of the recommended NPK rate, or 50% NPK + 4 or 6 t sugar pressmud and/or 4 or 6 t biogas slurry/ha.
