Soil fertilization and acidification effect on the rate of development of epigeic carabid (Coleoptera, Carabidae) communities in a Scots pine forest plantation

A 10-yr-old Scots pine plantation in Czucow Forest, Poland, was divided into plots which were fertilized with sulfur, ammonium nitrate, lime or nitrogen (as carbamide), or treated with 98% sulfuric acid, over 2 time periods (1986-89 and 1990-91).
