Studies on relationship of loblolly pine wood properties to proper veneer peeling conditions and veneer qualities



China Wood Industry 10(2): 1-5



Wood density, hardness and modulus of elasticity with grain perpendicular to testing span were determined for loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) wood grown in China. The relationships between these properties and veneer peeling characteristics were analysed.
