There are 2 methods of installing a camera for the machine vision of rice transplanting robots. In the first, a camera is installed in the centre in front of the robot. The second is for 2 cameras to be installed at the sides of the robot. Filters are attached to the camera lenses to highlight rice plants. Rice plants were highlighted with the filter, but the target rice plants were not detected perfectly because the binary image noise was too high.
