Studies on the genetic behaviour of allelic sterile genes between photoperiod sensitive genic male sterile rice (PGMR) and BT-type sterile rice

Studies on the genetic behaviour of allelic sterile genes between photoperiod sensitive genic male sterile rice (PGMR) and BT-type sterile rice

Acta Agronomica Sinica 22(3): 335-339

All of the F1 progenies from crosses between PGMR Nongken 58s (as well as its different genetic background derivatives) and BT-type male-sterile rice Liu-Zie-Xin A or Hen-Feng A were sterile. This inferred that one of the 2 pairs of recessive male sterility genes of Nongken 58s was induced from Nongken 58 and is allelic to the male sterility gene of BT-type male-sterile rice.
