Studies on the life cycle of the ectomycorrhizal fungus Tricholoma robustum

Studies on the life cycle of the ectomycorrhizal fungus Tricholoma robustum

Nippon Kingakukai Kaiho 35(2): 130-133

The life cycle of T. robustum, and related species, was examined from the viewpoint of nuclear behaviour and regulating mechanisms in the various developmental stages. Among 7 Matsutake related species, T. matsutake, T. caligatum, T. ponderosum, T. bakamatsutake, T. fulvocastaneum, T. robustum and T. zelleri, nuclear distribution in hyphal cells of isolates from fruit-body tissues and single basidiospores was examined by double staining of nuclei and septa.
