Survival potential in different varieties of mulberry (Morus species)

During 1987-89 at Ambari-Falakata, 100 cuttings each of 5 varieties (Local, Tr10, S1, BC259 and Tr4) were planted. Observations were recorded 30, 60, 90, 120, 150 and 180 days after planting. The higher survival rate was observed in the Local variety followed by S1, Tr4 and Tr10.
