Susceptibility of Oncomelania hupensis to Schistosoma japonicum



Chinese Journal of Schistosomiasis Control 7(2): 83-86



The susceptibility of Oncomelania hupensis collected from 37 sites in 9 provinces and municipalities of China to Schistosoma japonicum was studied in the laboratory. The miracidia of a laboratory strain of S. japonicum was used to infect the snails at an exposure ratio of 20:1.
